My favourite add-in for hot chocolate is vanilla sugar, I find it compensates/compliments the dark chocolate I like to mix in with my Nesquik powder.

Honestly a good hot chocolate doesn't need anything. Since I can't afford to always drink good hot cocoa I have to say a candy bar. I like to mix in a fun sized snickers or milkyway, but heath bars are awesome too

ReplyDeleteI normally am not a big fan of add-ins, preferring my chocolate pure. But the best way to go if you're gonna is to make homemade marshmallows and cut them out with your mugs so that you have a mug-sized marshmallow, like the cheese over French onion soup!

Wow ... GREAT prize! I can think of several people who would love to receive this for Christmas. Have you tried the new Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Starbuck's? Odd combination, but it TOTALLY works. It's kind of like eating a chocolate covered pretzel. YUM!

ReplyDeleteI think I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to coco I start with dutch coco add sugar (evaporated cane juice) and a tiny bit of salt. It's almost as dark as coffee but better in so many ways.

Ooo I just love the colors on the scarf and the wonderful fabric you used. My favorite hot chocolate is the raspberry ones, but during this time of year, I love to hang one of the small candy canes on the edge of my hot chocolate cup. The candy cane dipped in the hot chocolate adds a nice minty flavor :)
